Jeep + RallyCross = ....?

Okay, tell me this is a stupid idea. I was watching some rally videos, and got to thinking:
Could I race my ZJ on a RallyCross course?
Seriously.
It currently sits mostly stock. In the area, one of the classes they run is non-turbo AWD/4WD.
Fix up a few things on it, leave the 249 for full time 4x4 in it, a budget boost and some 31" AT's or MT's. It's got the 318 in it.
Why not?

Any Jeep or 4x4 can run an Autocross

YES, it had already been done in 2006 in Guanajuato, GTO Mexico, home to WRC, we participated and passed tech in this crappy TJ at some local GTO Autocross. Out junk had already been driven all the way to Texas and wheel with no lockers or gears, just some bad ass fat tires. The tech guys did make us run street tires so we mounted the factory tires and raced the autocross event in GTO in 4high with no pre running and placed 3rd.

The racers said it was unfair so then we went back in this junk and they got scared. But the fans and judges loved it because the $ betting was on just like cock fighting. We did not care we knew the kids had to pay some how and if not their parents in the government had to come thru

After a while we beat these rich Mexican kids so much, we forgot who owed us their girlfriend and cars. The best thing was that we got all on video and pcis Just in case they deny it.

Our best time was this BMW, the best M5 in mexico, that made us so much Bongo! We even tried to race it in the Panamericana against and they denied us, word got around we were killing everyone at the track. Oh well that bimmer was the first one to make noise in mexico, the federales and AFI know it, but they always laughed when they saw the bill of sale of $1200 USD. Bongo! Little did they know that it had more than that underneath the rear seat on every crossing

It was fun. The fans loved it that we killed all the awd fancy mitsu evos! Bongo!

After that we said, lets try wrc mexico, which was also easy! Bongo! Then every monkey after that came following the underdog wrc dream, but little did they know that shit got burnt in 2008. Same shit went on there...everyone copies your ideas and so forth...so just go do it.

My advice is show up, make sure you got the proper safety gear and your in. If the gear is FIA even better, they will take you more serious. Kind of stupid. but just notice if you were in Europe and show up with Alpinestars and Nike they like you more )I have bought this gear before and it sucks when your at an FIA event and the FIA tag is not there, or show up in the Americas with OMP, SPARCO, STILO, and FIA you are importante. Always good to also show up with a mini tech build book and racing resume of your bad ass team. IF NOT TELL THEM YOU ARE ANOTHER MINORITY RACER! DONT WORRY MAN, IN THE END ITS STILL GOING TO HURT YOUR POCKET. SO MAKE IT COUNT AND HAVE FUN.

The best advice given to me was this, and its true....

As far as shocks, anything that isn't blown and decently stiff. Bilsteins are always good. Fresh ball joints, tre's, bushings, etc will be nice.
Tires, pretty much anything with a pretty open tread and decently sharp still. Lots of rallycrossers run takeoff pro rally tires. Some Mtrs would be fine, nothing too big. Don't want tire roll.
The important thing is just to go do it. It's low buck fun, and totally driving skill oriented. keep it that way. Forget the big brakes, they wont get hot enough to need em nor have the traction. Focus on cutting weight. An 87 Subaru can beat an sti on the right course with the right driver.
Also might want to do some practicing in gravel first with a little mini track somewhere discreet.

Беккер, отступая к стене, вновь обрел способность мыслить четко и ясно. Он почувствовал жжение в боку, дотронулся до больного места и посмотрел на руку. Между пальцами и на кольце Танкадо была кровь. У него закружилась голова.
